Myriant has successfully demonstrated that high value specialty chemicals can be commercially produced at prices competitive with their oil-based counterparts.  The company has an extensive pipeline of products ranging from the discovery through piloting stage that represents over $200 billion in market potential.

All products in the pipeline have large current markets and can be produced directly via fermentation or are derivatives one step down in the value chain.  They have large substitute markets that support rapid market acceptance.

Myriant expects to bring new products to the marketplace every 12 to 24 months.
