Dr. Ninios is Managing Director and Principal Analyst, Research for Plainfield Asset Management.  Prior to joining Plainfield, he served as an Executive Director with the Goldman Sachs commodity business (Jaron) in London from 2000 to 2003, focusing on European Power and Gas markets as well as Distressed Debt Power markets.  Dr. Ninios also held positions with McKinsey & Co., Intercapital Brokers and Southern Electric PLC.

Dr. Ninios holds a Ph.D. in Electric Power Industry Deregulation Economics from the London Business School, an MSc in operations research from the London School of Economics, an MSc in computer science from the University of Dundee, UK, and a B.S. in pure mathematics from the University of Patras, Greece.
